ANTMAN & THE WASP AND REEBOK CONTENT
With the unrivalled success of the MCU Disney asked 20ten to create a content piece that connected with a new audience. It was felt that any Marvel fan would already marked th date in their diary for the next installment and the challenge here was to bring the franchise to a new relevant group.
Through our insight and development we discovered there was already an interest in the fitness programmes followed by a number of the films stars and so wanted to build content that tapped into this already engaged space. A partnership with existing client Reebok seemed a natural fit, then began the challenge of how we fuse
the two worlds.
A LITTLE BIT OF SCIENCE
With the film continuing the story of the ant sized superhero we wanted to create something that played with scale. Rather that creating something in post production we decided we would take 2 of our Reebok ambassadors and get them to work out in an Ames Room gym.
The Ames room creates an optical illusion, making 2 people in the same space appear very different sizes depending on where they are in the room. With a few additional props everything that was created is all in camera, creating a visually unique piece of content to be shared across, Reebok, Disney and influencer channels.
FRAME BY FRAME
The script and fitness routine were worked through to create a comprehensive storyboard to make sure we could work out all the angles
and shots perfectly.
The Camera would need to be in a locked position so it was even more important that this storyboard was locked before the shoot.
SHOWCASING THE CONTENT
Once the final piece was shot, edited and graded a number of short form clips and stories were also created to drive audiences to the main long form content.
Both brands and influencers, @daniellepeazer and @bethefittest, shared teaser content, behind the scenes and also personal stories to engage with their respective audiences in the most authentic voices.
